The FCN uses the collective expertise and knowledge of four organizations (Brooklyn Perinatal Network, Caribbean Women's Health Association, Northern Manhattan Perinatal Partnership and Queens Comprehensive Perinatal Network) to:
Current FCN programs and services include: facilitating the Citywide Coalition to End Infant Mortality, which is comprised of 29 community-based organizations; planning and conducting an annual Citywide Health Conference on Maternal, Infant, Child and/or Family Health issues; maintaining a mini-resource center; coordinating and conducting citywide capacity-building, management and programmatic training and educational sessions; developing a public policy agenda on women's, infant, child and family health issues, and infant mortality; and advocacy on these issues on a citywide basis.
